TLF Student, Rebecca Van Pamel, Student Voice Columnist

Rebecca Van Pamel, a senior at Nimitz High School and member of the TLF Class of 2014, had her first article published in the Dallas Morning News on September 6, 2014.  Her article urges us to to be aware of how important patience is with teenagers but is a lesson to persons of all ages.

TLF 2014-15 Kick Off

The class of 2014-15 is off to a great start. We are excited to welcome 17 new students from eight area high schools. The students are: Ashley Ortega and Curtis Wiggins from Adamson HS; Jazzmyne Warren from Conrad HS; Ruby Bui, Valeria Sanchez and James Lopez from Irving HS; Diana Monyancha, Abighail Seghid and De’Traun Bradley from Lake Highlands HS; Gabriel Marez and Gaby Castillo from Molina HS; Cameron Ivory, Rachel Van Pamel, and Rebecca Van Pamel from Nimitz HS; Megan Miers from W.T. White HS; and Nia Delmast and Ivan Diaz from Woodrow Wilson HS.
