The Today Foundation believes that character can be built, and we focus on building young leaders with character.

Character Counts!

This program instills the importance of character education in our schools, teachers and parents. We believe such character education will help:

  • equip parents to shape the ethical behavior of their children
  • establish schools as models of respect, responsibility, compassion and high academic achievement
  • promote and nourish the nation as a healthy democracy
  • renew character education as an emphasis within the many public and private schools throughout the Dallas area

The program’s curriculum emphasizes six pillars of character, which are:

  • trustworthiness
  • respect
  • responsibility
  • fairness
  • caring
  • citizenship
